Best of Tour Update 2019: Setlist Strategies and Secrets!

We got to chat with so many fantastic artists this year—about everything from new music to amplified stage production to onstage bloopers. Tour Update: Andrew W.K.

Party advocate Andrew W.K. is back with his first new album in nearly 10 years. This is W.K.'s fifth studio album and will be released on March 2. The singer is set to take the new record on the road with a full band this year. The "Party Hard" icon stopped by our studio to talk about the most important part of a show and how to prepare to be a fully engaged member of an Andrew W.K. audience. After all, it's not just a concert--it's a party.

Tour Update: Kate Nash

"I think acting has given me a discipline as a performer that you just have to perform then and there, and be ready for camera, and you do all of the prep work in advance. As a musician, you can be like it’s just not coming to me. As an actor, you come to set ready to work. When they say 'action' you do it and you do it twenty times in a row and you have to hit it every time because you don’t know what take they’re going to take. You want to put your best work out there."
